It all began 243 years ago with the end of the Holy War; Shion and Dohko were the only survivors...
At the Sanctuary, about 230 years later, we witness a quarrel between two brothers, Saga and Kanon.
Kanon is imprisoned by Saga.

PROLOGUE (2)

Kanon descends into the undersea kingdom after finding a golden trident.
Inside the temple, he awakens the spirit of the god Neptune...
Aiolos and Saga have been summoned by the Pope, who has decided that Aiolos will be his successor...
Meanwhile, Shura of Capricorn returns to Greece...

PROLOGUE (3)

Shura is summoned by the Pope, where he also meets Ares and Saga (yes, they are two different people).
Athena comes back to life at the foot of the statue...
Meanwhile, Saga is tormented by shadows; his dual personality begins to emerge.
At Star Hill, Saga has a new encounter. There, he receives the dagger he is to use to kill Athena.

On the infamous night of treachery, will Aiolos of Sagittarius manage to save the infant Athena from Saga (disguised as Ares)?
Aiolos’s flight is halted by soldiers and by Shura, wielder of the power of the Excalibur sword.
At the Foundation, Mitsumasa decides to send the 100 sons he fathered with different women to various locations, with the aim of turning them into warriors serving the Goddess Athena.
One of these children is Hyoga; he is sent to the frozen wastes of Siberia...
